When you register, the information
you provide is used to create a basic profile. To protect members
privacy certain information is NOT published on your profile. Other
users will
NOT be able to see your
real name, your
email
address or your
date of birth, instead your profile will
display your username and your age in years.
Because this can make it more difficult for your friends to find
you on Quechup members can search for you by your real name or part
of your name and also by your email address - this means that those
people that know you or have your email will be able to find you.
You can alter this in
privacy
settings. Other members can also see when you are on Quechup.
People that you invite to join you on Quechup by using the '
invite
friends' and '
address
book checking' system will receive an invite showing both your
real name and your email address so they know who the invite is from.
If you are concerned about privacy and who can see your profile and
details, you have control over these settings on the
privacy
settings page.
